Our vision is to be a light by helping orphaned children in Uganda let their light shine. Africa’s Light helps reunify children with their existing family, provide education and discipleship. Africa’s Light aims for family preservation and whole, healthy families.
Education
Lack of access to education is a major predictor of passing poverty from one generation to the next, and receiving an education is one of the top ways to achieve financial stability.
Family
Africa’s Light helps children become reunified with their existing family. Children attend boarding school away from home for 9 months. They learn about Jesus in their daily Bible study at school. When they are home, children and their caregivers are provided mentorship and guidance about how to create whole healthy families that will change their nation.
